Is the platform free to use?
Yes, 100% free. Posting offers, submitting proposals, creating your listing in the Industry Directory: it's all free. No credit card, no hidden fees, no subscription.
How does the anti-collusion system work?
Before the award, the other bidders see your name and your Directory listing (the application is public), but your message and your price stay private. Only the offer creator sees those details. Your contact info (email, phone) is never public. After the award, the details become public for transparency, but the contact info stays private.
Do I need a Directory listing to take part?
Yes. To post or to submit a proposal, you must have an approved Directory listing. That's what guarantees the quality of the system and prevents abuse. Create your free listing here.
How does the member rating system work?
After an awarded collaboration, both parties (creator and winning bidder) have 30 days to rate each other on 3 criteria: quality, punctuality and communication. You can also indicate whether you recommend the person and leave a comment. Ratings are public on the rated person's Directory listing. The rated person has a public right of reply to every review received.
Who is responsible for transactions between members?
Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc. acts as a neutral intermediary, in the manner of a communication platform. We are not a party to transactions between members and assume no responsibility for commitments, deliveries, payments or disputes. Any agreement is made directly between the parties involved.
Can I report abusive behaviour?
Yes. On every offer, proposal or review, you'll find a Report button. Give the reason (collusion, hate speech, lie, etc.) and an administrator will review it. Beyond a certain number of reports, the content is automatically placed under moderation.
What happens if the winner doesn't deliver or disappears?
Three options are open to the creator: (1) Un-award the offer to put it back online and choose another winner from the proposals received (with or without a strike to the failing winner), (2) Request mediation from an admin if the situation is complex, or (3) Set a delivery deadline and use automatic tracking. You're never stuck.
How does the strike system work?
A strike is a warning note on your account when you don't honour a commitment (withdrawal after an award, abandonment of delivery, etc.). 3 strikes = automatic suspension of your account until admin review. Strikes also affect your public reliability rate displayed on your Directory listing. A creator who un-awards can choose whether or not to give a strike to the winner.
What is mediation and when should I request it?
If you have a disagreement with the other party after an award (delivery quality, unplanned changes, late payment, etc.), you can request an admin mediation. Since Underground Network is not legally responsible for agreements between members, its power is limited to bringing the parties to reason in a neutral way, without legal or administrative advice. However, if abuse is observed and visible, sanctions may be taken against users who broke the rules of membership and use (for example a strike). Mediation temporarily freezes the other actions on the offer.
How do I mark a collaboration as finished?
When the work is delivered, both parties must confirm the delivery via the dedicated button on the offer. When both confirm, the offer moves to the Complété status and you can rate each other. That's what cleanly closes the cycle: award → delivery → confirmation → rating.
How do I post a call for proposals?
Click + Post an offer. A 4-step wizard guides you: (1) the what (title, category, brief), (2) the details (budget, deadline, location), (3) your profile and your private contact info, (4) confirmation with a preview. Your data is saved automatically as you go, so you can close and pick up later.
Public or anonymous: what's the difference?
Audience: your name, your Directory photo and the link to your listing are visible. Ideal for building your reputation.
Partial anonymous: 5 privacy levels to choose from. You can hide your name, your photo, your listing, your city or your company. Useful if you don't want competitors to know you're recruiting.

How do categories and specific fields work?
Depending on the category you choose (from 85 categories grouped into 10 families), specific fields appear automatically: musical genre for a mix, duration for a beat, experience level for a search, etc. These fields also serve as filters for bidders to find your offer.
How do I pick a winner and award the offer?
In the list of proposals received, for each one you see the name, the Directory listing, the full message and the proposed price. You click Award on the proposal of your choice. Irreversible action: the winner receives a notification and your private contact info. You also receive theirs to finalize the collaboration.
Are my email and phone visible publicly?
No, never. Your private contact info is visible only to you and to administrators before the award. Once you award to a winner, only that winner receives your contact info. The other bidders never see it.
Can I edit or delete my offer?
You can edit your offer as long as no proposal has been received. After that, only certain fields stay editable. You can delete your offer at any time before the award (the bidders are notified).
How does admin moderation work?
Depending on the configuration, your offer may be published immediately or go through admin moderation before publication. You receive a notification as soon as it is approved. This moderation is used to filter out abuse and guarantee the quality of the content.
What is the delivery deadline for?
At the time of the award (or later), the creator can set a delivery deadline. If this date passes without delivery confirmation by both parties, the system automatically sends a notification to the creator reminding them that they can un-award or request mediation. It's a protection against endless delays.
How do I submit a proposal on an offer?
Click an offer that interests you, then Submit a proposal. You fill in your introduction message, your proposed price, and your contact info (which will stay private). You can also include links to your portfolio or references. The creator receives your application immediately.
Can I edit my proposal after sending it?
Yes, as many times as you want as long as the offer is not awarded and the deadline has not passed. You go back to the offer, click Edit my proposal, and update your message or your price. The creator sees that you edited and how many times.
Do the other bidders see my price?
No, never before the award. Your message and your price are visible only to the offer creator. The other bidders only see that you applied (your name and Directory listing), but not what you're proposing. That's the anti-collusion principle. After the award, everything becomes public for transparency (except the contact info).
Are my email and phone visible?
Your contact info is visible only to the offer creator, and only if you are awarded. Before the award, no one (not even the creator) sees your contact info. That's your protection against off-platform contact.
How do I use the filters to find relevant offers?
At the top of the list of offers, the Advanced filters button opens a full panel: category, budget, location, mode (in-person/remote), type of mandate (one-off/recurring), and even filters specific to the category (musical genre, duration, experience level). The filters combine and apply in real time.
How do I know if I won an offer?
You receive a notification in your hub as soon as the creator awards you. The status of your proposal changes to Awarded, you see the creator's contact info appear (email, phone), and the creator also receives yours. You can then collaborate freely outside the platform.
How is my reputation built and displayed?
Each awarded collaboration can be rated by both parties. Your received ratings are displayed on your Directory listing (page
/pro/): average score out of 5, statistics by criterion (quality, punctuality, communication), recommendation percentage, and the list of reviews received with your right of reply to each. The more you collaborate, the more your reputation builds.
