Will.i.am and Taboo return with "WE LA (East LA Remix)"
Filmed once again in the streets of East Los Angeles, the video this time pays tribute to the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
Three months after the success of the music video East LA, will.i.am and Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) are back with a new version: WE LA (East LA Remix), unveiled this October 28, 2025.
In the first version, one could hear Carlos Santana to reprise the legendary refrain of Maria Maria, bringing a distinctive soul and Latin touch. This new version takes a more urban, rawer direction, refocusing on vocals and rhythm, without the presence of Santana.
Notable fact: will.i.am and Taboo had each shared the article on their social media Magazine Hip-Hop dedicated to East LA's first outing, confirming the international resonance of the project.

Filmed once again on the streets of East Los Angeles, the video this time pays tribute to the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, a powerful symbol of local culture and community pride.
This is a song whose first version garnered widespread attention worldwide for its protest against American politics. This new version, marked by a clear intention to honor the Dodgers, the song could well go viral again and perhaps even become a true anthem for the Los Angeles team.
To be continued….
