Content Moderation & Content Management Policy

1. Preamble and definition of entities
This Content moderation and management policy is established by Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc., a company legally incorporated in Quebec (Canada), NEQ 1181534406.
Magazine Hip-Hop is a trade name and a media division operated by Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc.. It has no separate legal personality and exercises no autonomous decision-making authority.
All platforms, services, programs, and digital properties operated under the Hip-Hop Magazine brand, including Underground Network, The Portal, Hip-Hop Institute, Mag HH Store, Affiliate Program, and CGI, fall exclusively under Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc., the sole decision-making, contracting, and legally responsible entity.
This policy applies to all user-generated content on platforms operated by Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc..
2. Objet de la politique
This Policy governs the publication, distribution, moderation, restriction, and removal of user-generated content across all platforms operated by Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc., including Underground Network, community spaces, user profiles, groups, forums and comments, internal messaging within the established limits, publishing spaces associated with Le Portail, and any current or future functionality that allows content to be published.
This policy aims to ensure user safety, platform integrity, compliance with applicable laws, and consistency with the mission and values of Magazine Hip-Hop.
Identity verification data collected through VERITAS (Cypher, Optimus) services does not constitute user-generated content. It is not subject to moderation, distribution, or publication. Its processing is governed exclusively by the VERITAS Biometric and Identity Verification Charter and the Privacy Policy.
3. Nature of the platforms and role of Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc.
The platforms operated by Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc., including Underground Network, are private, regulated, and moderated spaces.
Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc. acts as the owner of the platforms, technical operator, content host, and moderator.
These platforms are not neutral public spaces and have no obligation to universally or automatically disseminate content.
4. User responsibility
Each user remains fully responsible for the content they publish, the statements they make, the files, links, or media they share, and their interactions with other members.
By publishing content, the user warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the content, that the content complies with applicable laws and regulations, and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
5. Prohibited content
It is strictly prohibited to publish any content that is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading; infringes copyright or image rights; contains hateful, violent, discriminatory, or defamatory statements; incites violence, intimidation, or harassment; includes explicit or inappropriate sexual content; promotes criminal or dangerous activities; constitutes spam, abusive solicitation, or automated content; impersonates a person or organization; attempts to manipulate the platform or its technical mechanisms; or intentionally harms the experience or safety of other users.
This list is not exhaustive.
6. Sensitive or restricted-distribution content
Certain content may be subject to restrictions without immediate removal, particularly when it addresses sensitive topics, receives repeated reports, requires verification, or partially violates the rules.
These measures may include reduced visibility, downranking, hiding, or restricting access to certain profiles.
7. Discretionary moderation authority
Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc. reserves full discretionary authority over moderation. This authority includes, in particular, the right to remove content in whole or in part, modify its visibility or distribution, restrict certain features, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently terminate a user account.
No detailed justification is required. Moderation decisions are final, subject to applicable legal obligations.
8. Content reporting
Users can report content deemed problematic using the tools provided for this purpose.
A report does not guarantee any action, does not impose any obligation to intervene, and is assessed according to the internal criteria of Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc.. Any abusive, repetitive, or malicious reporting may result in disciplinary measures.
9. Private messaging and limits of moderation
Private communications between users are confidential. However, occasional technical access may be carried out solely in the event of an explicit report concerning content, to protect the security of users or the platform, to prevent serious misconduct, or to comply with a legal obligation.
No systematic monitoring of private messaging is carried out.
10. No obligation to publish
Publishing, submitting, or sharing content does not guarantee its distribution, does not create any acquired right, and does not impose any editorial obligation or obligation to maintain the content.
Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc. may refuse, remove or limit content at any time, including after publication.
11. Account suspension and termination
A user account may be suspended, restricted, or permanently terminated, particularly in cases of repeated rule violations, publication of prohibited content, harmful or abusive behavior, fraud, or attempts to circumvent the systems.
No refunds are given in the event of suspension or termination.
12. Disclaimer of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc. cannot be held liable for content published by users, interactions between members, harm caused by third parties, moderation decisions, or the removal or restriction of content.
The platforms are provided as is, without any guarantee of continuous streaming or permanent availability.
13. Articulation avec les autres politiques
This Policy must be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the VERITAS Biometric and Identity Verification Charter, the Cookie Policy, and the policies specific to the various services and divisions.
In the event of a conflict of interpretation, the Terms of Use shall prevail, subject to the VERITAS Charter, which shall prevail solely with respect to biometric and identity verification matters.
14. Policy amendments
Le Magazine Hip-Hop inc. reserves the right to modify this Content moderation and management policy at any time.
Continued use of the platforms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
